Would you agree with me that our present-day generation is very much like the post-Joshua generation? ; a generation of relative blessing and prosperity in the land? We do not know the Lord or His power as fully as we should. We were born into a time of relative peace and prosperity. We have been given over to the prevailing philosophies of the land – humanism, secularism, and paganism, to name a few.
However, the situation is changing, drastically, in recent years. And now, as our world experiences increase in acts of global terrorism and economic challenges, our lives are forever being reshaped from what we have known. Furthermore, we are becoming aware of the incomplete conquest of the plans and purposes of God in our lives. These insights are leading indicators that our generation is ripe for apostolic reformation.
Our awakening has come; the time to act is upon us. The great bible stories of the past are ready to become the testimonies of the present. A breakthrough generation must arise in this hour, with the King going forth before us. We must turn the tide and arise with an apostolic spirit to overcome and occupy!
