Words, continued ?

In the previous article, I presented the importance of words in general. Today, I want to key on the importance of one Word, specifically. That Word is actually referred to in the Bible, in the Gospel of John, chapter 1, verse 1, which states: ” In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God.” Verse 14 states, ” And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us …” This Word made flesh is named Jesus. Now, don’t ask me about HOW the Word was made flesh. I don’t know HOW; I just believe that It was, and HE IS! Verse 3, chapter 1, goes on to say that ” ALL things were made by Him, and without Him was not any thing made that was made.” Over in Colossians, chapter 1, verses 16 and 17, it further adds that: ” 16) . by Him were ALL things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: ALL things were created by Him and for Him: 17) And He is before ALL things, and by Him ALL things consist.” He, the Word, made if all, whether by a big bang or simply by speaking a word, and He holds it ALL together … keeps things from flying off the earth or the galaxies from going off course. WOW! I’ll let you chew on that for a while, but be sure: there is more to come.
